After the war, Willys-Overland company continued to make non-military Willys Jeeps for civilians. To broaden their market, they added wagons and trucks to the production line. Between 1947 through 1965, more than 200,000 Willys trucks were produced.
Willys trucks were available in both 2WD and 4WD with either 4-cylinder or 6-cylinder engine. When you search for a Willys truck, you may find them under Willys-Overland, or Kaiser-Jeep, or simply Willys. The reason is that the Willys Motor Company was purchased by the Kaiser-Jeep Corporation in 1963 and some Willys trucks were produced after the company was sold. So you might find a truck under different brands.
